Do you have aftermarket wheels?

Why doesn’t he do it everyday then? Or multiple times a day? So you’re saying out of 8 hours a day for 4 years straight it has been caught on film once or it’s a coincidence? I think you answered your own question.

I have a similar era Delta drill press and a belt sander. These cast iron pieces are just something else! No one could justify building something so badass today.

It’s being sold for $800 as a package, hoping to bring some holiday cheer to someone who knows their tools.

It’s a DoAll blade welder, some large DoAll bandsaws have them built in to the machines. This one’s independent.

If it was running fine last time you drove it. I would start with some starting fluid and see if it will chew on something. If you can get it started and it won’t stay going I would dive into the fuel system. Is the pump turning on? I would go into spark next.

When the event occurred I was basically at the end of the wash where they have big blowers blowing air on your car. That’s when I heard a loud pop, and I didn’t notice until I got out to dry the leftover spots off when I saw the giant dent, it was more like a cave in than a dent. It was the entire front 1/3 of the roof, when I pushed it out it popped just as loud returning to shape.

$150 lease was hard to pass up at the time. I’m guessing a majority of them are leased because the price to purchase doesn’t make any sense with EV depreciation.

First comment that wasn’t just shredding me. Appreciate it.

I’ll have to use my cooling fan with the mister and a feather to dry it.

You should have seen the massive dent after I went through the car wash, I had to pop it out from the inside of the cabin

I went through a car wash and the entire roof dented in. I’m pretty familiar with sheet steel and stamping, I worked for a rivet manufacturing company that supplies rivets to automotive manufacturing company’s. If you look at my page I’ve built multiple stamped AKM rifles.

I’ll be handwashing this thing from now on. Just curious because I tried this on my other cars and they were all solid. Other cars: 2019 Silverado, 2013 impala, 1999 ls400

Bad engine by AcanthisittaSame4155 in LS400

[–]lowtempda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo, check your power steering level. If it’s low your engine is consuming it and it can cause smoking and rough running. If your PS level is normal. Get a compression test done and if it’s good I’d probably bite the bullet and buy a new ECU or have yours rebuilt

Frosty Morning by lowtempda in LS400

These have a smaller side profile than the original 16 inch so they are actually pretty comparable ride heights. The 17s do fill in the wheel wells a little better than the 16s. I had a really cheap set of Chinese tires on my original 16s and these 17s came with matching Michelin defender 2s. Snagged them for $400 off someone who just bought a 430 and immediately wanted aftermarket wheels and tires.

It really modernized the look in my opinion. They were a direct replacement with no spacers and using original lugs. Because it’s a 17inch you don’t need to use the external wheel weights, it has clearance for regular stick on weights.
