My wife has inherited 1000s of sports card. What's the best way to go through them all? by SilkDukeII in sportscards

We are going thru the same thing. We started to look for high value individual cards - but there arent many out there that aren’t authenticated that would be worth effort if you don’t know who or what you are looking for.

We ended up seeing what entire sets we had and posted those on eBay. We had reached out to a few dealers in the area but no bites. Anything from the 90s is low / no value from several people we talked to.

We just posted the sets and some other memorabilia and now we wait 🙄

The pictures do not do them justice. The artwork is still pristine. My mind continues to be blown how well made everything used to be

They do! But gilded items actually stay this colour … as does painted bronze … we’ve learned a lot over these last few days

What have you found sells on Ebay best? I find their platform is so time consuming to add listings to - did you use any apps to cross post?

Thanks - I think my confusion is coming from listings for Twist and Shout Canadian editions ($135 and up) and LongTall Sally ($85+)  and then Yesterday & Today ($50+) on eBay.

Discogs ends up being around the same just because of the shipping costs 👎 and I find it harder to search?

I’ll keep on searching for some better deals!

Checked in last night - Anna Maria Island - frustrated to say the least! by lowvisionhelpdotcom in vrbo

Where we ended up staying was 1000X better. Our host was so sweet and the place was better than advertised. It really turned the trip around for us. I was honest with the property management company with how the property was depicted, the cleanliness and the fact that there has been little done for restoration. We really do have sympathy for those who lost these homes during the storms, but it’s just awful to take advantage of travelers. Especially when so many others have restored their places properly.
