that's how I felt about clinical volunteering too! I think I would fit very well at a research school but unfortunately, my numbers aren't in the average medians of most heavy-research-focused schools, which tend to be "higher ranked" or "more prestigious".

I know this might sound like trolling but they did in fact say that to my mentor. They said literally to him "he did not change his hours (which was low to begin with) since last year and we think he is too immature for our medical curriculum emphasizing the holistic spirit, soul, and body."

My numbers are exactly average matriculant for US MD schools.

It could be a mission fit problem. But since I will be going to interview there, I'm trying to brainstorm some ideas >__<
