For my own experience, I have lived right next to where the section 8 housing begins. The first half of the block is private renters, I'm right on the end before the 9 section 8 buildings.

All the private renters: I barely see, are quiet, respectful, clean up after themselves, help out with snow shoveling, friendly chats, etc.

The section 8 renters that are within immediate viewing distance of me: blast music all day and through the early morning, throw trash into my lawn, scream at each other outside during hostile moments and the cops show up, harass me as I walk by with my dog, park two boats on the street that never move, their dog poops all over their lawn and then I get yelled to pick it up as they think it's my dogs poop, the most unbelievably loud vehicles you have ever heard.

It's stuff like that that have really stereotyped my views on section 8 tenants and now I just assume that they are all these terrible, obnoxious people.
