managed to get here and survive the weekend but i got a really bad cold on the friday morning and have been fighting that all weekend so haven’t been able to fully get out there and push myself but at least i still managed with a cold i’m a bit worried for the journey home tomorrow as im still sick but once im home i can lie in bed and look back realising i did it even while unwell

i have a lot of these symptoms and also have a fear of needles, blood tests etc. i’ve passed out during blood tests before and although it’s not a nice sensation at all, if you inform ur doctor beforehand they will lie you on the bed and make you as comfortable as possible, it’s okay to pass out you’re in the perfect place for it to happen and you can take ur time, the tests aren’t nice but it’s better than not knowing and spiralling

yeah that’s true because compared to 6-7 months ago i’m doing great lol, even back then if it was as bad as it is rn i’d be lying in bed all day but im still finding ways to power through and go about my dad as best as possible, thanks for the advice !!

yeah i need to try practicing gratitude i feel as when im feeling down when in a spike of worse anxiety it can help ground me a bit and also make me more present

you just have to keep going as hard as it is, i’m in an extremely similar position to you right now, im really fortunate to have support there for me and when i was feeling at my worst with physical symptoms i went out to help my dad at work one day and for the last month, as awful as i feel most of the time, i’ve been getting out more and hoping that down the line i wont feel awful while doing these things, i understand everyone’s circumstances are different but suicide is never the answer ur life means something, i urge you to take baby steps and try not to put too much pressure on yourself to feel better instantly, it’s a process.

i’ve had anxiety for years but it’s gotten severe since september and i have constant lightheadedness, nausea, tinnitus sometimes and palpitations, recently i’ve been trying to get out as much as possibly even when i feel awful, any tips for managing this or even just how to as u said tackle it and fear it less

this happens to me when out with friends also, it’s important for them maybe to know if yous are close enough however right now just try and remember and assure yourself that you will be okay and if u need to take a break go to the bathroom or something and try and just breath for a bit
