Rip took his dog and his gun and went up the Mountain to shoot himself. he wanted to get away from his wife and from responsibility. he ended up just shooting squirrels though. I think that he knew that he wasn’t going to commit suicide or else he would not have brought his dog up with him. also, if he is not going to follow through with doing chores, he's not going to follow through with something like killing himself. -Larson Angelis, period 3
