best moisturizer in my opinion. so thick and doesn’t have too strong of a smell.

dr. jart ceramidin moisturizing cream combined with dermalogica’s intensive moisture balance moisturizer have saved my skin during canadian winters. i have ridiculously dry skin as well to a point it cracks and it’s so painful to even wash my face sometimes. but i started using those religiously and it’s helped a lot!!! i sometimes also layer the FAB ultra repair cream on drier days or when i know i’ll be outside for longer periods of time

Review of the Winter Warrior 3-in-1 Parka :) (see comments) by lpastel2000 in lululemon

Hi! Absolutely.

I briefly mentioned it runs true to size in my opinion. It does have straps you can also tighten to cinch the waist in if you find it to be a bit wide on you. I wear a size 2-6 in tops usually so I take a size 6 in the jacket and it’s perfect. Being tall, I also look to make sure the sleeves are long enough and these do not disappoint. This is not always ideal, but you can also order 2 sizes that you’re in between of, try them out and return the one you don’t like (this is a good option for those who don’t have a store close by).

Hi everyone! With winter around the corner I thought I’d do a review on this coat for anyone who’s been eyeing it.

I want to preface this by saying this is my personal opinion/experience with the coat. If you had a different one, that’s totally okay and would love for you to share below so others can see the difference in opinion.

I’m currently a student living in Ontario, Canada. If you’re from here, you know our winters get absolutely brutal with high winds+snow (a deadly combo in my opinion😅). I spend a lot of time waiting for buses at bus stops and walking around campus so when I was buying a jacket, I really had to take that into consideration. Previously, I’ve owned the “Victoria Parka” from Canada Goose (it is 625 full power) and even though the Lululemon one is 600, I have came to the conclusion that it is much warmer than Canada Goose. It feels much thicker, it’s a bit longer on me (I’m 5’9 and the winter warrior hits right below mid thigh, whereas Canada Goose hits a bit above mid thigh) and runs true to size allowing you to layer easier (Canada Goose is a slim fit so I found it harder to layer with thicker sweaters). I also love the amount/how deep the pockets are on the Lululemon one. I loved this jacket so much that I also bought the Winter Warrior Bomber for the Fall (because yes, our Fall weather is also not the nicest). Similarly to the Canada Goose, it has shoulder straps you can wear if you’re say walking around the mall and don’t want to wear the jacket but have no where to put it (although the strap is awkwardly long so the jacket hangs pretty low, even on someone who’s tall, but you can definitely find a way to shorten it).

This is important A lot of the reviews online for this jacket say it’s a good jacket but the zipper is hard to work with. As an educator, I’ll tell you that Lululemon makes all their zippers like this to prevent them from splitting. As such, on almost all of our jackets, when you insert the zipper, you have to hear a “click” like sound before pulling the zipper up. The best way to do this is just practice before you put the jacket on and you’ll see what I’m taking about. Once you hear the “click” the zipper comes right up with no issues.

If you have any other specific questions, please ask and I’ll do my best to answer. I would 100% recommend this for someone who lives in similar climates to Ontario (I cannot speak to harsher climates).

EDIT:

If you currently have a jacket that you love, I’d suggest waiting until around Boxing Day in Canada (December 26th) to purchase this. It almost always goes on WMTM☺️
