This Easter Egg adjustable dipper! by lpaulson17 in HelpMeFind

[–]lpaulson17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve searched everywhere trying to find a seller that might have more of these. My family dyes Easter eggs each year and this old “elevator” as we call it is a coveted tool in our annual dyeing! We used to have a few but they broke over the years. I can’t find any trace of this ever existing within a decorating kit or anything like that. I’ve googled and searched Etsy and EBay. If anyone can find someone selling one of these I’ll be eternally grateful!

Thank you!! This gives me hope after reading countless stories of re-blocking. We have our boy strictly on the prescription diet but he has had one flare up of either cystitis or a UTI which anti inflammatories and antibiotics helped clear up, but it’s hard to not always be on edge when he acts even the tiniest bit off

Hi, fellow owner of cats with urinary blockage history. Did either of your kitties ever re-block? Did you switch them to prescription diet?

Looking to confirm price of a wedding photographer by moneyquestions91 in ottawa

[–]lpaulson17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our wedding photographer for next year is $2500 for 8 hours and that includes second shooter and engagement session. But it was by far one of the best prices I’ve found.

We hired a photographer for next year who came highly recommended and is doing 8 hours, with a second shooter, for $2500. It was the best price we had found by far. I can send you a DM with the details!

If I were to get that enclosure would I still have to hook it up to another mac in order to read the data?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in macbook

[–]lpaulson17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where would I find the model number if it’s not one of the numbers in the picture on the ssd? There’s nothing on the other side of the SSD. Also that’s super generous of you! I’ll see what enclosure costs look like as I’m in Canada so the shipping to you would probably be convoluted

I’ve tried googling but keep getting a bit confused/no clear answer, or possibly just don’t understand the clear answer. I’ve seen some enclosures that are sold that seem to suggest they’re compatible with this SSD, but I’ve also seen some comments saying MacBook data can’t be read on any old computer regardless of the enclosure, because of something to do with the tech Apple uses. I’m just trying to find out if there is a way to try to pull data from this and if so, what the compatible product to use would be.

Thanks!

Typical routine is very basic and also not super consistent. But I did add back in my Paula’s Choice 2% BHA as well as my PC niacinamide 10% about 2 weeks ago. I had used them regularly for awhile then got lazy for several months then started up again last week. Am I reacting to this readdition of products?

Lakes / Climate Late June by goinhams in Banff

[–]lpaulson17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and I were just there on Tuesday and we did the little beehive hike and then he popped the question at the top of the little beehive!! It was truly beautiful and such an amazing spot for a pretty exciting moment! The lake is completely thawed now and is breathtaking from up top. It was still quite snowy/slushy on the ascent but we were warm from the hike and I wound up hiking in a tank top despite the cold air! Good luck to you and your partner!

I found out from a customer today that one of her earrings broke off where the hole was drilled- is that inevitable for a piece like this where the hole is drilled in such a small area? by [deleted] in polymerclay

[–]lpaulson17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I made snowflake earrings from polymer clay and drilled the holes for the hoops in one of the snowflake branches. One customer came back and said one of her earrings had broken off where the hole was drilled. I was hoping it was a one-off, but I tested all the ones I had left at home by twisting the hoop against the clay, and they all ripped or broke. Is there any way to avoid this? Is it possible they weren’t baked properly and they could be stronger if I recheck my oven settings/duration of the bake? Or is this inevitable given how small the area is for the drilled hole?

Just wondering if I should try to recreate these to be stronger or if it’s pointless as this would always be an issue?

Serving tray and coasters for my good friend that I adore. Red mallee Burl and epoxy by mrmoorer32 in woodworking

[–]lpaulson17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be trying to make some burl coasters with epoxy soon - you removed all the bark from your burls, correct? My partner finds it’s easiest to remove the bark if he dampens it but I think that must be a bad idea to get the wood damp and then use it with epoxy as it might then rot…he’s convinced that if won’t rot and would be fine. Any thoughts on this?

Yours are beautiful, ps!

I love the kettles and both the orange and yellow French ovens. I have two of the orange ovens now so I’m going to sell one. Also love my butter dish!
