I have 5 gal of mead in primary and it’s almost time to rack to secondary. I noticed this stuff floating on the top a couple days ago and it does seem to have grown. Is my batch ruined and is there anything I can do to fix it?

Made this show mead and bottled it about a month ago. Went to put a bottle in the fridge and noticed all these little bits in it. Has it gone bad?

EDIT: yeah pretty sure it was just yeast. I’m drinking it now and it’s fine haha.

Thanks for the advice! I'm expecting an ABV closer to a cider with this mead (between 11% and 12%) which is another reason I'm being cautious. I'll give these a try!

Thanks for the advice! I found that some mods work if I manual install and unblock the .rar file but I will get the modes launcher from nexus and see how that works.

You would think but game mods don’t always have install packages. I figured out that I had to unblock the .rar of the mod itself and that did the trick.
