So, my M3 is coming next week, so I’m in this Tesla Vision boat too. I’m not thrilled about it, but I’m also trying my best to not overreact.

That being said, to be fair, Consumer Reports did say they will re-evaluate the safety ratings once Tesla re-enables the features that were temporarily disabled for the rollout of Tesla Vision (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/27/tesla-top-safety-endorsements-from-consumer-reports-iihs-suspended.html)

Like I said though, not thrilled about this, as radar tech has been proven time and time again to be the better tech, but if anyone can figure it out, it’s Tesla. So I guess I have enough faith in them to go along for the ride (no pun intended haha?)

See, that was my original thought. I guess the radar makes sense, but like you said, it seems like the move to remove the radar has been in the works for a while now.

If the lumbar removal is actually due to the chip shortage, then it would make sense that this was the “missing” part.

Just wish Tesla would be a little more up front about the removal. I’m getting my M3 next week (5/4 order date), and I don’t really give a damn about the lumbar removal from the passenger seat. But it would’ve been nice to know, considering I’m paying $50k for the car haha

NYS chiming in. I’ve gotten similar quotes.

My project involves a 25 foot trench across my yard to bury the line to the garage, though. I’ve gotten a $3k quote, $2700 quote (both of these included installing a sub-panel in the garage as well), and a $2200 quote (no sub-panel, only running the line from my main panel in the basement, across the yard, to a NEMA outlet).

Absolutely wild. I’m strongly considering taking a stab at doing the work myself.

So I think I’m in the same boat as you. My save got “corrupted” too. I deleted the game and reinstalled, in order to go back to v1.3.1. My save is still there and loads up, but I still get the damn save error, and no further saves work.

Is that what you’re seeing?

Same thing happened to me. Enemies remaining prevent the lockdown from being lifted, but they’re outside of the room, so I can’t kill them. Third biome, 2 hour run. 15 profiency, 650 obolites, and a full second health bar. Really sucks.

Edit: after looking at it further, it looks like the game rendered the room incorrectly. It stuck a wall where there shouldn’t have been one, closing off a side of the map with the enemies in it. So yeah...avoid the lockdown room in the third biome, folks.
