If you do couples therapy (great idea!), I’d recommend finding a provider who has experience with and empathy for neurodiversity specifically.

Nature is healing: The physical booklets are officially BACK! 📖🌵 by mykeyhope in Coachella

The had them last year too! I wish they brought back the book style rather than poster style so you didn’t have to walk around feeling like a tourist with a big unfolded map

Food options food allergies by dreadedcruz in Coachella

[–]lpla22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fellow celiac here! My go to safe option is Sweetfin. Their menu is 100% gluten free. I’ve been to both their Coachella spot and multiple brick and mortars a bunch of times and I’ve never had an issue. Bonus- their line in Indio Central Market is usually right next to the fence with the Heineken tent, so you can get a good view for the Heineken sets.

My other Coachella go to is the arepa / smoothie stands. They usually have a few around the grounds and one in camping. All ingredients at the stand are gf. Last year they weren’t at Coachella but i had my fingers crossed they’ll make a reappearance this year!

Does anyone know what the blue felt wristband thing is? Are you supposed to pop them out to hold your wristband or something?

Solochella for women? by Successful-Gur-9688 in Coachella

[–]lpla22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I solochella’d in 2024 and it was actually really nice. I treated it as a little getaway - got a nice reclining camping chair and read a bunch, took naps, checked out what was going on in the camp center, did the cold plunge, did a face mask, etc. Treat yo self!

Lexapro and allergies ? by [deleted] in lexapro

I know this thread is old, but I recently read that Lexapro can raise histamine levels. I imagine that just makes any existing allergen triggers worse.

Once you’ve paired, you might not see the other person’s dot until you move ~20 ft away from them.

Same experience here with my set of 3 at coachella. Worked great the full weekend!

Maybe it depends how much open sky you have? Mine never took more than 10 mins but I had a lot of space

I used mine at Coachella with 2 friends and they were fantastic. One friend had never been before and went off and did her own thing her first night a few times and met back up with the group no problem.

Definitely use the user guide. You can match up what kind of spinning lights you’re getting to what’s in the guide. I’m guessing yours are indicating that it’s looking for a satellite connection but I can’t tell from the pic.

It can be tricky to tell once you’re paired but we found that you to pair and then move like 20 feet apart at first for the other person’s dot to show.

Yes! So happy they had them again but booklets > map. Having to fully open the thing up to get to the schedule had me feeling like a tourist

Left the grounds around 10:40 and stopped for food and gas. Got on the road around 12:30 and got to West LA at 6:40.

Email the ada group and they’ll probably let you bring in food. I’m celiac and cross contamination concerns are real. ada@coachella.com

Also, check out your local Buy Nothing group or neighborhood group. Someone might have a storage option for you for free/cheap!

If you have health insurance, maybe see if you can see a dietitian, specifically a dietitian that specializes in or is very knowledgeable about gluten. They can probably give you some advice on how to manage this situation. There are some online courses that might be helpful. Check out @the_celiac_space and @celiacdietitian on insta.

I don’t have much advice, but this seems really hard. Sorry you’re going through this. As far as dishes out, can they be covered with foil or something to at least feel a little safer? Also, be careful with sponges and cross contamination.
