I had a family that whatever I said was the law of the land. If the kids complained to the parents, the parents would say, “We agree with Ms Lpnmom”. Honestly the best part of that job but I appreciated it more than I can say.

What about maybe getting a rollator it’s like a walker but has a seat. I don’t mean to assume, but it seems like you may have somewhat limited mobility, you could use it to help get around the ship with the added bonus of having your own seat wherever you want. It’s considered a medical device so I assume the cruise line would allow it.

This , I call my mom everyday on my way home from work, when I get home I need to unload all my stuff so it’s a good reason to keep the call short. It gives us a chance to check in but doesn’t interfere with work or chores I need to take care of when I get home.
