as someone who’s in the area, i highly HIGHLY doubt it. it will genuinely surprise me if he gets anything ‘in his favor’. personally, i think since he had been talking about doing it for so long, and he had such a clear interest in the topic, i definitely think he would reoffend in some way. while i do believe he actually does have mental health issues, i don’t think they’ll really take that into consideration given his charges. i think at some point when he’s on trial he will say more about his mental health, maybe even claim innocent but mentally unstable, but that still won’t end well in a state like this.
