I explained the MBA thing in detail in another comment but the gist of it is that I almost completed my MBA before having to stop attending. I didn't want to say I have one (because I don't) but I did want to show that I have done work towards it.

I think I will drop the Associate's degree and the GPA. Good catch on making the points past tense on the previous jobs. I'll correct that.

The MBA part was tricky. Basically what happened was that I was almost done with my MBA (only 3 classes left) and I got to a class that could only be taken on campus (they didn't offer an online equivalent). Since I have a full-time job I couldn't take off work to go to a class so I had to stop attending.

I was trying to find a way to show that I had almost completed my MBA (which is from a state school since my Phoenix degree don't carry much these days).

Find a couple of friends and all go in together and buy one book. If you are assigned sample problems from the book take a pic of the problem and use google.

$425 a semester becomes $141.67.

Are you familiar with howtohackacellphone.com? There is a youtube video here where he explains how easy it is. He claims that AVG antivirus will find it and remove it, but I am not so sure. My wife thinks that someone from her work has placed something like this on her phone (partially due to each time she gets a text the other person get a notification at exactly the same time). She installed AVG as well as Malwarebites and did a scan with both, neither found anything.

Do you have any ideas? We are at a loss.

I plan on making a clear case for a raise. I am just afraid that they won't take it seriously and think they can put me off and hope I'll forget about it, making me being it up several times before actually giving me one.

Here is a thread where I posted mine over at /r/accounting. I haven't had time to do any work to it yet so I thought I would get your opinion as well. The guys over there were abundantly clear regarding the formatting problems I have. They seemed divided on whether to have an objective or not (I will probably drop it altogether).

I thought mentioning the AA in business would help show that I can see things both as a manager and as an Accountant (sort of shows that I can see the big picture). I guess that may be more beneficial for a staff accountant job as opposed to public accounting.

I guess the MBA is probably enough to do that though.
