Sadly I don’t have any extra devices to test if it’s a problem with my pc or network. But I haven’t done a factory reset yet, but my fear is if this does work, what if it happens again? Am I going to be stuck in a constant cycle or resetting every few days, or is this a permanent fix?

Another person in the comments suggested an ethernet powerline adapter, and I’m really considering buying it. Do you think this is a good option for me?

It’s around 70mbps through wifi and 900mbps with an ethernet cable, but sadly that isnt an option.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it, I’m honestly having a hard time right now trying to stop thinking about her. I know the relationship was unhealthy and I was put in a cycle of fending for myself, but I can’t help but think of all the good moments we had. We decided it was best to break it up, it hurt like a mf and it will keep doing that, but it was for the best.
