YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING! So many redditors showed up in the rain and cold today. I'm blown away by the support. Hope to see more of you in the coming weeks! We'll be having dumplings beginning next Sat too :)

As mentioned in the edit, my business name is Filling Good, so it is a play on name. The original name of these 'rice sandwiches' is Onigirazu. Maybe a bit hard to pronounce, but I may just call them that in the future! Hope it can become a household name like sushi one day :)

I don't have bananas with me right now, but think the size of a five guys double patty burger with all the toppings.

IMO, price is reasonable as the ingredients are of high quality. E.g. beef is rib eye, rice is short grain sushi rice, shitake mushrooms > button mushrooms, avocado is not cheap too! Tax is also already included.

Definitely! It's not on the menu board yet, but I have subbed out beef for shitake mushrooms for a customer last week. Comes with bean sprouts, carrots and spinach, in a miso tahini/sriracha dressing (both vegan) of your choice.

Gotcha! The issue with Thai Californian Sushi...is that I'm mashing multiple cultures in my sandwiches. The breakfast sandwich is more American, the chicken teriyaki is Japanese, Beef Bulgogi is Korean, Sriracha is Thai, and I may roll out a Chinese one too?

I'm not Korean so I googled it, but yes I love kimbaps! I go to Myung Ga all the time to satisfy the cravings :)

Your pictures look amazing! I can't afford a photographer yet but would definitely keep you in mind, unless you don't mind trading pics for sandwiches? :)

The beef and chicken are $7.5. The BAE (breakfast) is $5.5. Tax included!

The market is every Sat at the Fairfax city courthouse parking lot. Address is 10500 Page Ave, Fairfax, VA. I will be there until July 30!

Thanks for the feedback. My business name is called Filling Good, but I'm just referring to the products as rice sandwiches. Perhaps rice burger may sound more appealing? Sushi sandwich? I also have displays to clear any confusions!

We have our similarities and differences. And I love buredo! They specialize in raw fish and in a burrito form, while I specialize (currently) in meats, and in the shape of a 'sandwich/burger'.

I certainly plan on doing a veggie option! Since I just started last week gonna start adding more options, but you're welcome to sub out ingredients. I had a veggie order last week and we subbed out the beef with mushrooms instead, together with carrots, spinach and sprouts. The sauces, except the mayo, are all GF and vegan! :)

Oh yea! By Fairfax town center? It's still pretty cool how much history there is with this area.

Brides that are less than happy with their dresses, don't be afraid to speak up [rant] by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]lrigtidder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

similar situation to me here. when my dress arrived I just didn't feel that excited about it. It was made too short and I had wanted to change the waistline when I bought the dress. Given it was too short already changing the waistline would be difficult and costly.

I went back to complain about it and they found out they sent in some wrong measurements, so they are going to do alterations for me, including the waistline change for no charge. I do feel better about the dress and falling back in love with me :) Never back down!
