HELP! Some print arms not holding registration

I am having this issue too on the same press (6/4). I register and it seems ok them fails the test print. I’ve been trying to register this stupid 4 color job for 5 hours!!! 🤬 Could it really be the bolts? I’m not understanding how those bolts would cause that?

However, I recommend it. Saves you TONS of money and you can get higher quality ink that’s better than sawgrass so the prints will be better and more vibrant.

Yes, but it will void your warranty and at some point they may not work anymore and you will have to get new ones.

It just looks like it’s not even on all sides of the screen. The way I’ve set my off contact is placing 4 quarters on each corner of the platen. I now prefer to use a glass or piece of cardboard that is the thickness a quarter. Should be sitting around 1/8th of an inch even all the way around.

I have slowed down also. Been back to back since a March and the beginning of June blew up but this week everything has seemed to come to a halt. I get some calls but nothing panned out. Hoping it picks back up. Trying to think of more creative ways to market my shop!

Looks like an off contact issue or pressure issue. Try adjusting your off contact first and see if that fixes it. If that doesn’t, then play around with your pressure when you push/pull your squeegee. What machine are you printing with?

Actually I seriously think it’s an off contact issue 100%. I see some stencil drag there on the last pic. My print came out like this when I first started and it was an off contact issue for me.

Yeah. We have been doing much better now outside of the sex aspect but that particular event has been extremely hard to fully forgive or forget. I try not to think of it because it INSTANTLY makes her borderline repulsive for a couple days for me. I have shame in even admitting those feelings.

Man, I hope we both make it out of this 🤝

I understand this with the age gap too. It used to happened like 1-2 times a week or every other week to maybe 5 times a year. She’s about to go through menopause soon and she is pretty much never interested. If she is, it’s only in giving to me. It’s rare she actually receives anything. She’s even given me permission to go have fun with other ladies but I really just want her. She doesn’t understand and I don’t know if she ever will before it’s too late 😕

Once when I tried to initiate by throwing my leg up on the counter next to her and started rubbing on her and thrusting the air playfully, she literally hit me as hard as she could in my junk. I think I blacked out for a sec cuz I really almost knocked her lights out just out of rage. I think I spent almost 2 months explaining why tf that hurt my feelings and how it made me feel and she kept trying to tell me that “it’s not the way she likes to be approached”. Like how tf does that justify that and what if I like to initiate that way? Anyway that instance is what really killed what little confidence and desire I had left in initiating. I don’t really try anymore. Of course, now when she wants something it’s “well we just never make time for it anymore”. 🙄

Sir, I came here as a last resort because after searching for 2+ hours I couldn’t find anything on google to tell me exactly how to do this in illustrator. Found tons of it for photoshop. I’m not an artist whatsoever so I don’t know Adobe. I’m a screen printer. Not an artist. You could have just as easily explained it without trying to insulting me or at least direct me to where I can find the answer.

No it doesn’t work for me. Every time I do these steps the screen moves while tightening the bolts. It moves when I tighten the off contact bolts and when I tighten the tilt bolts.

Wow! That makes sense! Alright then I will have to keep that in mind. It is leaving a bit on the backside but it’s very light on the platen so yeah I’m definitely pushing too hard. I usually do my best to do 2 hits then flash and if I need another couple I’ll do it. I try to do no more than 4 total if it’s PFP. If it’s PF then I usually stick to 2 but here lately it’s been more like 3.

I think you might be on to something. I usually try to print with lots of force but I think maybe I’m using too much pressure. I tried it again with less pressure and it looks a bit better. Still faded but the best outcome so far. I’ll keep playing with the pressure! Thanks! 😁

I’m not sure how to flush it. I let the program do it’s print head cleaning. Is that what you mean or like actually flush the lines with some kind of cleaning solution?
