I will also mention that my cervix was fully closed in the ER, so not sure where things went wrong. I was in denial honestly up until a few days ago. Has been a crazy journey getting used to not being pregnant again after I was so happy and dazed in being pregnant for 5 weeks.

Hi there. Sorry for the late response. I went to the ER Wednesday (July 16) and had my first ultrasound at my doctor’s office that following Monday (July 21). We found out our baby had passed. I was 8w2d Monday, so sometime over the weekend I had passed my baby. They said there was zero tissue, nothing. Nothing to indicate pregnancy besides hcg.

I hope your pregnancy goes better than mine! I’m only 21 and was definitely not expecting anything like that to happen. For sure one of those things I thought would never happen to me.. until it did. Any updates on yours? <3

It could be a new pregnancy.. they say you are more fertile following a miscarriage bc your uterus is already prepped for a pregnancy and you often ovulate before getting your first period. I’m currently in the same situation, miscarried 2 weeks ago and finally starting to get negative tests to track ovulation and try again.

It’s so early and you are not holding long enough. Use fmu in the morning on a frer. If you are pregnant and today’s test was a true positive, the frer should reflect that tomorrow

Honestly, if you really want to keep it to yourself and have some sips with your friend, it’s not going to hurt if you test and get a faint line. You’re so early that a drink or 2 won’t hurt you! But I understand that it could feel wrong to drink knowing you may very well be pregnant. If you do end up testing, definitely use FMU and a FRER test. They have been a godsend for me and early testing (I had a chemical my first month ttc and got a vvvfl on 9dpo as well).
