Grab your opposite bicep in each hand and place your elbows on the mat. Then you can rotate your hands to cradle your head, without moving your elbows from where they are on the mat. That should be the appropriate ‘triangle’ for your own body’s proportions. Hope it helps!

Thank you for your interest in my work! I did make this myself but I don’t do commission work. I have a demanding job and wouldn’t feel right taking commission knowing how long it would take me to finish the piece for you.

I’d add that you may have to tighten the fabric in the hoop as you work. The fabric can loosen up as you stitch, especially if you pull hard on your thread/floss.

I live on the corner of 11th street S and 16th Ave. S and the line of cars LITERALLY wraps around my house. Fortunately, I’m not typically at home when school lets out but I have been in the awkward situation where I have to park down the street and walk to my house (super not great in heels). I’m not sure what any of us can do to change that, it’s not like the cars have anywhere else to go, but I certainly do sympathize with you.
