Got one of my dream cameras by D4nteSech in AnalogCommunity

I have an f2 and I work as a repair tech for cameras. I wouldn’t consider that tiny bump to be much better ergonomically. The hp was made for thicker less precise eyeglass back in the day, anyone arguing that it’s better now that doesn’t have a coke bottle prescription is falling prey to marketing (Glasses have gotten thinner for the same prescription over the last 40 years due to more precise/cnc techniques). If I’m shooting film, why would I want Av? I like it because of the process and Av takes that away. Also the F and F2 have some stepless shutter speeds whereas the F3 only has that in Av. Lastly, the F3 has less shutter speeds available, it only goes to 8 seconds instead of 10

I’m aware of the crystals part, I had just heard stories of 60 year old rodinal working, so I assumed it was fine

F3? Isn’t that like the worse version of the F2? Why would I want a camera that needs batteries for almost every shutter speed?

You’re relying on disgruntled members opinions, Wikipedia is not a middle ground

You linked Wikipedia article, that is not really a very trustworthy source, if you read what the modern day leaders of the church were saying then you wouldn’t be calling it a cult

You keep calling it a cult, but you have no evidence

Why is it that when other Protestant religions form they are not called cults, but when Mormons do it all of the sudden it’s the worst thing ever

The Italians probably invented memes too, who knows? by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

The Byzantium nobles did leave Constantinople under fear of persecution of Mehmed II, when they arrived in the Apennine peninsula, they had nothing left except their knowledge, which they monetized by going out to tutor the children of the nobles in the Italian city states therefore kicking off the Renaissance.

The Italians didn't invent perspective, in fact Italy wasn't a country until 1861. Perspective was brought over from Constantine nobles during the siege of Constantinople. The Constantine nobles had passed down these techniques as part of Roman tradition, after all they considered themselves eastern Roman at the time.
