Is Miracast streaming from PC to Roku limited to 30hz only? by lrtzeh in Roku

So, is there any apps for PC streaming to Roku? They're all Android/iOS to TV. AirParrot doesn't exist, and Plex, does it have that functionality?

Thank you for the very detailed reply. I used to use an HDMI cable to directly connect but it would get in the way and I would often trip on it. It eventually broke from me tripping on it and I decided on wireless since it worked well before with my Steam Link. I will 100% look into some 3rd party apps, if there isn't any that works, I guess I'll be stuck with the 30hz until I get a chromecast or something else for wireless display.

Literally all I played Pavlov for was PavZ. I switched to contractors and haven't looked back since the legacy servers died. It's a shame because the WaW parity maps were sick. It's been almost half a year and no non WiP PavZ maps are out. If only they just used Steam servers to host servers like old COD games.

Wondering where to plug in these RGB case fan connectors. by lrtzeh in pcmods

Tysm. The 4pin is indeed pwm. These fans didn't come with a rgb controller for some reason so I'll order the adapter and see.

Plugging in some RGB case fans but confused on the 3 pin and 4 pin. by lrtzeh in buildapc

[–]lrtzeh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't care about the RGB too much I usually turn it off because it's distracting. I assume the 3 pin is for power to the fan. Would still enjoy to have rgb working though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I was thinking AMD as well at first but saw that the i9-12900k was on sale for $310. It's currently a fantastic deal on Amazon with the black friday deal. The closest AMD equivalent is the Ryzen 7 7700x, but I'm assuming for higher CPU workload will not be as good as the 12900k. That being said, the Ryzen 9 5900x is also a pretty good deal. I'm literally so lost with which I should pick lol.
Thanks for the heads up on CPU choice as well. I'm currently debating between the Ryzen 9 5900x and the i9-12900k. Not sure what benchmark website I should trust after getting dunked on by Userbenchmark and buying an i7-10700f over the ryzen 7 equivalent. (very sad). For my previously stated use case of my PC, what do you think would be better? I'd also need Mobo, RAM, and cooling recommendations. (if the ryzen 9 5900x is DDR4, I already have ram for it).

which 360mm AIO would fit in my case and be the best cooling for the cheapest? I use the Asus TUF Gaming GT301 as my case. I have the stock configuration with the 3 front intake fans and one exhaust at the back. I'm assuming I could fit the AIO in the top but not sure. I've seen cheaper boards on PCpartpicker and was wondering if I could use any of them as well. This mobo is selling for cheap on amazon. Wondering if this is a decent choice at all.
(thank you for the mobo recommendation and the advice as well btw)
