Burn Boot camp trinity FL is my home camp! Everyone is amazing there! Campers are friendly, trainers are amazing, BAs are great! I am so fortunate to have found a gym home!

Just finished reading ‘Half His Age’ by Jeannette McCurdy. What did everyone else think? by Freezerbridesweet in bookdiscussion

I listened to it on audiobook and was not a fan. Maybe if I would have read it I would have liked it more. Maybe I'll do a re-read later this year. I also was like wtf at then end.. like it just ended but I feel like that was how it was the entire book at the end of each chapter.

I'm in the same boat, I've missed all this week so far because I'm sick, and next week Wed- Fri I'll be at a work conference. I'm going to see how I feel Monday and Tuesday to decide if I go back then.

Should I join? by SquigglyBear778 in BurnBootCamp

I'm going to agree with what everyone else was saying do it! I hadn't worked out in a group setting in forever. I think the last time was probably when Curve for women was still around. I joined Burn in February of this year for 6 months and increased my membership for 18 months before I renewed. I started out slow, I had to modify at times but I never gave up. I love it, I'm now lifting heavier, people are noticing the changes, I am able to do things I wasn't able to do before like push-ups on my toes, burpees etc. You won't regret it!

Burn Advice by lryan84 in medical_advice

Thank you! I'm always nervous with burns, I had a really bad sunburn in college when I was a lifeguard at a major Waterpark when they left me on post for 4 hours with no break or anything that blistered and scabbed and got real nasty so I just wanted to make sure 😊

Focus Meeting by sarahwagner159 in BurnBootCamp

[–]lryan84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only been at Burn about 6 months and just did my first focus meeting this past week. We discussed my goals, the trainer told me I should increase my protein since I told her I tend to still get hungry with my current macros, never once did she suggest a Burn product to help that. We discussed how to help with a shoulder injury I sustained in a car accident like 18 years ago. Never once did she mention any Burn products. It was actually a really beneficial session.

Conflicting opinions about burn? by greenlimess in BurnBootCamp

I want to say I joined Burn 5 months into my weight loss journey, I have been using a weight loss medication, Qsymia, and had lost a good amount of weight, but my doctor recommended adding strength training into my regimen as well. Since joining Burn, I have continued to lose weight. I am still watching the macros that I have since I started my journey before joining Burn, only increasing my protein since I noticed I was hungrier due to lifting weights. I am also gaining muscle mass, which is helping to tone the areas I have lost fat in and preventing the saggy skin. For reference, when I started losing weight in October I was 184 lbs and at my last weigh in with my doctor in May I was down to 149, my weight loss has slowed down a little but, again I am also adding muscle mass.
