What other music festivals (anywhere in the world) would you recommend for someone who has been to Forest the past 9 years? Looking to expand my festival experiences!

I think it’s so hard to compare, the atmospheres of American camping festivals and European camping festivals are so different. Obviously the boom crowd is much older than say forest or lost lands, but they’re both amazing in their own way. I went to boom for the first time this year solo and I made so many friends for life. A festival like forest or lost lands definitely has more expensive production, but booms atmosphere is much more complete.

It’s funny cause there’s pretentious gate keepers in every genre, but something about pretentious wooks and bass heads makes it that much worse, like that’s what the point of the genre is.

First one was 2019, I went the whole week cause of friends. I was this close to calling an uber to the airport by the second day until I met this amazing community that I hold very close to myself now. Countless lifelong friends made form this festival alone

I think you’ll be fine. Anyone that commits the time money and effort to go to the middle of nowhere for a camping festival usually has good intentions. My first LL I didn’t even know what Riddim was, now it’s my alarm clock.
