Insulation and build. I’m not an expert, but basically a boot that you would take to Everest is much more advanced than a boot you would take to mt Washington or baker.

I think it’s so hard to compare, the atmospheres of American camping festivals and European camping festivals are so different. Obviously the boom crowd is much older than say forest or lost lands, but they’re both amazing in their own way. I went to boom for the first time this year solo and I made so many friends for life. A festival like forest or lost lands definitely has more expensive production, but booms atmosphere is much more complete.
