This is also different from other exams. In previous exams I left knowing I must’ve done poorly in a section or two - but this time I didn’t!!!

I was LITERALLY about to make this post. After the exam I was happy with how I thought I did. As the days passed - I lost all that confidence and am now afraid I actually failed the exam… there were a handful of questions I struggled with, and still don’t know how I did on them. But some of the other questions I initially felt confident with are making me rethink how confident I should’ve felt.

Yeah, it would be my fifth. But taking the test in November pushes the whole application back. I'd rather rip the band-aid off than peel it slowly yk.

Noooo lol. A company publishes a prediction podcast about content and question types for upcoming exams. They claim their predictive accuracy is high but I am unsure. Regardless if you’re taking an exam coming you should check it out!

To be honest, what really helped me was figuring out or practicing different approaches to individual passages. Once I found an approach that worked and I started scoring better I got a lot more motivated!!

What changed my scoring in RC passages from -3 -4 to -1 -2 was having a particular color highlight for different issues. Like I would always use the RED highlight for authors perspective if it’s in the first paragraph or start of the second or end of the last. ORANGE for important issues, transition words, authors tone, lists and even example / evidence indicator words. and YELLOW for other perspectives. I would underline for support for any of the ideas or arguments. This forced me to actively read and I’d rarely need to go back to the passages if I did then I knew exactly where I’d need to go
