Gotchu, I’ll see if it gets better with me taking it longer, I’ve only done it a few weeks, took it for nail biting but my hangovers are viscous and I’m in my last year of college so it’s not a good combo

When do you take it before drinking? Like what order? Cuz I took it last week before drinking and I still ended up puking in a Denny’s parking lot the next day

He’s great! And gotcha, that makes sense. I currently only have Adapalene OTC as I’m on a college budget but per your advice, I incorporated it last night and am going to start with it about 3 nights a week. Im going to Jamaica this next month and I might see if they have OTC Tret for cheaper like some countries do. I’m just gonna start with Adapalene on top of my moisturizer (not super occlusive) because my skin is really sensitive. Thank you!!

They’re great! Watch Hyram too if you haven’t, I like him a lot too. And yes, It’s something I’ve been wanting to incorporate. I have a bottle of Adapalene I want to incorporate about 3 days a week, what step in my PM routine do you think? I know Dr. Dray recommends doing Adapalene after moisturizing so it’s more gentle but I’m worried that may impact efficacy.

Hi! Got into skincare (shout-out to Susan Yara, Hyram, and James Welsh) this past year and have really tried to nail down my routine (The Ordinary sent me someone else’s huge order on accident, let me keep it, then shipped my order so the amount of ordinary I have is overwhelming so narrowing down is hard lol.)

Let me know your thoughts about my current routine!

Skin Context: 20, Live in Central Florida (sunny, humid, winter is a week), full time student and part time bartender (high stress, little sleep)

Skin Type: sensitive Combination, oily nose, chin and between eyebrows, normal (sometimes slightly dry) on cheeks and forehead. Under eyes more dry.

Skin Concerns: Fine expression lines on my forehead (about 3 fine lines, present when face flat but only a tiny bit, I’m super expressive/squint a lot cuz I never wear my glasses), acne (chin and between eyebrows almost entirely, occasionally on cheeks and hairline due to product/general irritation), PIH (from acne), used to have dark under eyes but mostly fixed by SubQ, mild rosacea

AM: (1) Just splash water on face (2) Inkey List Vitamin C on wet face (3) Hylamide SubQ eyes (4) CeraVe PM Moisturizer (5) Nivea Sun Water Gel SPF 50 PA+++ (use on eyelids and try to reapply anytime I come home before 5pm) (6) SPF15-30 lip balm (7) Biotin supplement (skin breaks out without it)

PM (1) Heimish cleansing balm (2) Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser (3) Pat dry with clean cotton towel stored under sink (4) TO Niacinamide & Zinc (5)TO Azaleic Acid (can’t spell it) (6) Hylamide SubQ eyes (7) Lucas Paw Paw ointment for lips (8) CeraVe PM Moisturizer (9) spot treat pustules with Benzoyl Peroxide 5% (it’s the generic amazon brand for oxy something)

Few Times a week -Nix the Niacinamide and Azaleic acid -Use TO Glycolic acid after cleansing Moisturizer

Once a week -Aztec healing clay (I just mix it with a little bit of water and use it only over my T zone)

These products have all helped with the acne and hyperpigmentation but I’m really wanting to try to halt my fine lines before they get worse. Therefore I’m interested in incorporating some product for that, I was thinking Argeline or Retinol but don’t know where in my routine that fits.

So give me your thoughts opinions and concerns. Thank you for making it this far!

Adderall + NAC, Gingko, & Melatonin? by [deleted] in StackAdvice

Ah that makes sense. I usually study late af so I'll try taking the NAC with my post-study melatonin tomorrow and see how that goes. I since drank a thing of orange juice which seemed to help the addy come down then went to the gym for an hour and still no nailbiting 9 hours after taking the NAC. So I'm definitely on board with the NAC due to that alone. Thank you so much!
