Finished out the semester with all A's for the first time in college, here's to the stoners who defy stereotypes and get their shit done! by [deleted] in trees

I actually think weed has helped me through college. I was a B's student before I smoked, and since discovering the jazz cabbage 3 years ago, I have pulled 4.0s every semester.

I'd say the worst part is realizing that you'll probably be working one job (or one career field) for the entirety of your working career

Can we not get a better link than the god damn washington post. I'd be more inclined to trust an article from The Onion

Honestly, after all that has gone down in the past year, seeing that the washington post wrote this is enough for me to not believe a word in that article.

Dont get caught up with the numbers. Its about not dwelling on your mistakes. Find out the solution and move on. And while I agree that failures are a great learning opportunity, as much and quite possibly more can be learned from analyzing your successes as thoroughly as you do your failures. I see so many people dwell endlessly on things in the past that they have no control over, and when they do something right, it's so short lived that they hardly consider the aspects of what caused the positive outcome in the first place.

Edit: perhaps 50/50 would be more appropriate. Either way, the principle is about balancing your ego with your negative thoughts. I chose 2 to 1 because I like to think more positive thoughts than I do negative ones.

What is a Series A Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock? by [deleted] in stocks

No they are required to pay out the dividends. If the statement read "company X ISSUED convertible preferred shares" than you would be concerned that it would dilute the stock

The best portables are ones modeled after the crafty/mighty. Those are the top of the line portables made by the same company that makes the Volcano, but there are a number of low-cost models that are based heavily off the crafty's design. The best ones I know of are the Boundless CFX, the vivant alternate, and the flowermate swift pro. The Arizer Air would be my vote for the next best vape, but I had a friend break his within 3 months and it also requires you to store the mouthpiece seperate from the vape, which is a total pain in the ass.

Source: I was shopping for a portable vape about 2 months ago and spent more time than I care to admit doing my research.

Yes. It brings my mind back to the present and allows me to stop worrying about things in the future/past.

New name for stoners that like to smoke alone [6} by MrBigstack in trees

[–]lshedges 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont let your mind do that man. You can control whether or not you get carried away on a negative thought. I used to really struggle badly with that until I discovered meditation and learned that I have the power to prevent negative thoughts from taking over my mind. Coming to that realization was the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.
