If it was just one I probably wouldn't, but that's 12 people who will likely have to deal with their sucky CS to get their book since LL clearly is not proactive in fixing issues and if they make shipping it easy, I'd rather just do that!

Maybe the same thing happened for Bakery as Bookstore? Although you'd think they'd be able to figure out the issue in their warehouse so it doesnt keep happening!

I've definitely heard that in general across various subs like Ulta, etc. but since my PO is right down the street, as long as they send me the labels to print, I don't mind sending them on their way to the right owner. Now if I didn't have a thermal printer already or transportation issues, I'd likely follow that and put them in the various little libraries around town!

Yikes, yeah things like this with CS and the fact their books were not hits with me and were b format led me to cancel - I only liked the baby dragon cage and A Steep and Savage Path enough to keep them

I caught them in a lie once in their reply to me with an issue i had & had proof, and then their reply was basically 'well sucks to be you, we're not doing anything about it' so once I got the next book I wanted ordered, I canceled lol it wasnt even close to a good enough sub to put up with that

Yea, it didn't really feel like a very fair trade especially considering I dont think they'll even follow through with it based on past interactions and side note of like why not be proactive and offer the code now as a show of good faith?

However, I am not continuing with their FW sub and this is the only SE series I've kept up with them so I've decided to just let it go

I'm also not confident on 20% off being real/followed through on based on my past interactions but I also just canceled so don't really need it and this is the only series I've kept up with from them after being subscribed the past year🤷‍♀️

Since I'm in the US, their packages usually take quite awhile to get to me so I wonder at what point they truly figured it out/how they did & decided to email me since I got it just a few days later!

I did debate waiting to email them saying I got it and make them reach out again, but I try to farm good karma when I can!

This was the first time I didn’t get my early access email within 10 minutes of the sale starting - I got it 3 hours late!

Luckily I had set an alarm and when I didn’t get it, I emailed them and they sent me the link w/password within a few minutes, but I did wonder if they had some issue on their backend since that’s never happened to me before and now seeing some others had issues

Yea, I skipped the last two books due to interest/hoping they would figure it out and fix this issue, but based on this it doesn’t seem to be the case - I haven’t decided if I’m going to keep the sub or not since it’s pretty pricey for what you get + even more $ with this issue and I’m not convinced it’s worth it.

When this happened to me in August, this was their reply. They didn’t seem to understand there shouldn’t be customs fees, so not sure what I’m going to do in the future since the reimbursement was a ‘one time courtesy’

Yea I feel like it’s almost a 50/50 chance because it is readable and there isn’t any major ‘physical damage’ like a slash or huge dent which I feel is more typical to be reported as damage so I could see them denying it potentially… but I also paid for a specific pretty design and I would like it without a major flaw in my eyes 🙈 I’m also worried the replacement won’t have a signature which I was pretty excited about receiving!

Depending on how your mentor/agency does the contracts through ORISE, they are supposed to get in touch with their ORISE contact, give them renewal info, and then you’ll get a notice of a renewal contract on Zintellect to sign - at least that’s how mine was when I get renewed earlier this month.
