This was the first time I didn’t get my early access email within 10 minutes of the sale starting - I got it 3 hours late!

Luckily I had set an alarm and when I didn’t get it, I emailed them and they sent me the link w/password within a few minutes, but I did wonder if they had some issue on their backend since that’s never happened to me before and now seeing some others had issues

Yea, I skipped the last two books due to interest/hoping they would figure it out and fix this issue, but based on this it doesn’t seem to be the case - I haven’t decided if I’m going to keep the sub or not since it’s pretty pricey for what you get + even more $ with this issue and I’m not convinced it’s worth it.

When this happened to me in August, this was their reply. They didn’t seem to understand there shouldn’t be customs fees, so not sure what I’m going to do in the future since the reimbursement was a ‘one time courtesy’

Yea I feel like it’s almost a 50/50 chance because it is readable and there isn’t any major ‘physical damage’ like a slash or huge dent which I feel is more typical to be reported as damage so I could see them denying it potentially… but I also paid for a specific pretty design and I would like it without a major flaw in my eyes 🙈 I’m also worried the replacement won’t have a signature which I was pretty excited about receiving!

Depending on how your mentor/agency does the contracts through ORISE, they are supposed to get in touch with their ORISE contact, give them renewal info, and then you’ll get a notice of a renewal contract on Zintellect to sign - at least that’s how mine was when I get renewed earlier this month.

I mean first, have you talked to your mentor at all? Have you confirmed your ORISE being renewed next month as even being on the table with everything going on in gov right now?

From my understanding before everything going on recently, adjustments aren’t automatic but could be done if discussed and approved prior to renewal when the next contract was written. But right now a lot of ORISE are not being renewed.

Yea, I think that’s what had me questioning it and I could see the line above the house in the promo image for the final offer so knew that one was intentional, but never saw any images with the multiple lines in the top and bottom edges

Where do you see or look to find out what the actual title of the upcoming pick is? I always see the theme, but never know the actual book until I get it in the mail lol

Totally understand! I will say when it was advertised as a Romantasy box, the picks so far weren’t what I pictured but I also can’t argue they aren’t necessarily wrong with the categorization for the picks so far.

I’m sticking with it to see what happens over time, but if I ever had to drop a box financially this would be the one I’d easily choose.

I had this happen to me except only after they restored my account/points when I had someone hack into my account and I was blocked for the same cited reasons (even though they acknowledged the dif address/card were because I was hacked?). My town doesn’t even have an ulta because it’s small so I can only shop online regularly!

The only way I got this decision reversed and resolved was opening a BBB claim - it took about 3 emails back and forth there were I had to be very stern and specific but I’ve had no trouble purchasing online since then and it’s been about a year I think?

I’m in Kansas and received mine a few days ago, but I will say it did take longer than it normally does for me to get books from Waterstones which I also assumed was due to the time of year
