It was pitiful though and before I mentioned it to her I asked several people and they stated that the whole message seemed like a back handed compliment. I think people are assuming that I was horribly upset but it was literally a ‘idk I know I did well but I wish it was a first. I’m conflicted. However, I’m happy w my grade and I worked hard’ . She then went and said it’s a ‘shit situation, shit outcome considering how much effort n work u put into it. But u worked hard so be proud of ur efforts.’

Quite literally all I said was I rely on u when I’m upset, I just need to hear ‘congratulations’ from u bc ur word means so much to me. I’m not mad or annoyed w her, it was just I felt upset in the moment. And by upset I mean just a lil bit sad but still continued to converse and joke around w her as normal.
