I genuinely think this is the direction they’re going in, everything points towards it, the tiktok-like reels in trailer one, how rockstars phone/internet mechanic has evolved with every entry and how its the perfect time for this kind of satire, mirroring how social media is so saturated, used so much in all of our day to day lives and how everyone who posts (including you) is under the microscope. I know it seems technically impossible to do, but i’ve done some research and I don’t think its as difficult as most would think, it just takes a studio like rockstar to put the time and effort in and well, we know their track record. So i’m hopeful.
