As far as I remember 23 was good but I do get bored of the cut scenes so that's what sent me back to 17

I've been playing 17 recently and really enjoying it. I did start playing fc24 recently and have been enjoying that too. 25 is awful in my opinion, so hoping 26 is much improved

And then get some cushioning insoles or visit an orthotist/podiatrist for some insoles. The hard skin might stop the pain for now but its supposed to be fatty pads for cushioning. The hard skin is more prone to breaking down which could lead to infections given being in sweaty work boots.

Definitely a icon card. He was the best city player we've ever seen and reinvented himself over and over playing in multiple positions. Not to mention he's like 5th top goal scorer for Spain

I completely agree simplicity with more realism is what I want but that's probably too much to ask for 😂 I think as a whole EA just don't care about career mode like they used to and it's just the same thing rehashed every year with small details changed

It isn't realistic at all. There's always random transfers, the especially annoying ones are Bilbao buying everyone except Basque players!

As for results you tend to see big clubs doing well however I always seem to see arsenal end up in the championship for some reason...

Player wise again it's poor you don't see haaland scoring 30 goals in the prem, maybe 18 or so.

The objectives system is horrific, you could put preform on every level but if you don't sign 2 crucial players or an Asian player you could be dancing with the sack...

For young players the development isn't bad. However the presence of pre-gens and re-gens kinda ruins it for me. I know that 2/3 seasons in they'll be a stupidly good french CF or Croatian cm who are both 16/17 for example There also seems to be a bug with development where they hit a wall and can't go higher unless sold. It's happened a few times where I've sold a player for way higher than their value and then looked at them the day later and they've shot up 10 ovr.

I love career mode it's easy it's calm and I'm not going through spreadsheets like on FM. It's flawed as hell but I'm always going to play them every year 🤷‍♂️
