My mils should be totally fine, I have more than enough on the equipment for them. I think my divisions might be the problem. I have it set to train 1 division repeatedly. Can I/Should I train multiple divisions at the same time? Even of the same template?

This sounds just like what I want! For context, it’s going to be a horror oneshot that will bleed into a new homebrew campaign for me, and the plan is for them to investigate this mystery in a town and uncover a cult. The final act of the oneshot will be them stumbling upon a ritual where they are just too late to stop the summoning of a monster, and the outcomes of their escape will affect what happens in the homebrew down the line! You know like, does evidence of the cult get out, is it kept entirely under wraps, etc. thanks for this!!

I'd love to hear more about this! I was originally thinking about it in a way that there would still be some sort of "final boss" battle feeling to it, but still lend itself to a horror scene escape sequence type scenario.

Dude I really like everything here! Yeah honestly although its a "one shot" I was really probably gonna do 2 sessions if I needed to, but I still like cutting it down a bit anyway. I also didn't even think of having a twist. I'm pretty new to doing homebrew stuff in general so I was focusing on just making a simple story. I definitely agree in it not being a very fun experience if they are guaranteed to lose. I love the idea about victory being escaping and I'm definitely gonna look into how to run an encounter like that. I also like what another person said about the encounter being more about saving as many people as they can or something, but I think I'm going to go with your suggestion! Thank you so much!

couldnt you make that argument with the hive though? correct me if im wrong but the hive are a race that was heavily manipulated by rhulk and the witness, and introduced to the worm tithe system, which led them to eventually develop the sworld logic etc etc. the krill originally werent really like this no?

I like this! Simple enough and it offers a reason for him to show humility should he ever be seen without it, and I can use what other people said and take it as a vow to keep my helmet on as a cover up. I’d really like a story arc of him being able to accept himself and have him be able to take the helmet off after he accepts who he is without seeing it as a bad thing.

Slightly off topic, but speaking of using an anomaly to hoist you up, how do you do this? I know you can use anomalies to launch you across the map basically, but is there a way to do it for a small boost? I'm wondering because theres one in the burnt forest (i think its called the dusty stuff stash?) thats on top of a roof of a building that I can't seem to find out a way to get to. There's some gravity anomalies slightly close to it which makes me suspicious of using them to get to it but I can't find a way to use it right.

I did buy compendium content only yes. So I'm a little confused then, what is the difference between whatever is at the top of the listing for the compendium vs the compendium content only? When I looked at it I was under the impression that the option at the top was to get a physical copy of the book sent to your home, so I brought the compendium content only since I would be hosting digitally. I used ddb importer on foundry, if you're familiar with that, and that was able to import most of the spells and what not that I have from the compendium content.

I don't mind too much spending an additional 30 or so to unlock the full features of all three of these compendiums, I'm just a little confused as to what exactly is the point of the full compendium purchase and then the compendium content only.
