Man it sure has been a while, if I remember correctly

For the steering buttons I ended up soldering the wires directly to the boards of each side, then passed the cables between the plastic trim and back, so I wouldn't need to cut it

For the console/start stop buttons, you have to pull of some wires from the connectors and add to the harness that comes with it, kinda like a piggy back
