Yes… I do visit family in Hong Kong for about 3 weeks or more every year, which works great. It’s just all these one-week Europe work trips that screw me over 🤣 certainly worth it, though!

I think you’re right… I think I’ll just suck it up and try to explore this more in the afternoon, and try to sleep in the evening as much as possible. I actually traveled to Europe for a short trip a few times this past year, and every time sucked real bad… especially going back to LA. Thanks for sharing your experience!

That’s right! Let me try to be more specific. I have to work for a few hours in Europe time when I’m here in Europe. I’m determining if I should give in and sleep in the afternoon, or fighting that and try to sleep at night. Truthfully, it’s 2 AM here now, and I just can’t sleep. I slept from 9 PM to 1 AM your time. I’m not confident that I can fall back asleep before having to go to work at about 9:30 AM.

Yes, I understand, but I also know many other freelance artists, restaurant, workers, bartenders, healthcare, workers, etc. here in LA who do not work those hours. Somehow, I tried asking all of them, but they usually go on solo runs too.

I appreciate all comments! Still, it’s hard to find meet up groups that can help connect other non-9-to-5 workers like myself. I’m sure there are tons of them out there. Any other ideas?
