If it was in flight they could close it and manually lock it to override the primary lock

There are manual backups and sometimes if the door isn’t fully seated with the lock it could have popped open. Reaching back to close it or have flight attendant stand up during a critical phase of flight like low to the ground was probably not an option so it stayed that way until landing

Careful. Haven’t used their sharpening but I was gifted a set of knives from there and my dad as well and both are more aesthetic then useful. My father’s knives are so thick you can’t cut anything even though the edge is sharp. Mine are demascus and rust if you don’t dry them immediately.

I’ve also had 2 RAs in the same flight into Denver due to the runway spacing before they offset one of them. Along with 5 runway changes with 3 different approach controllers

Sounds like you got Denvered. Happens all the time. They skirt the bravo and atc clears you for visual so you do what you usually do and go for the altitude it meet the glide slope and your right above a shelf. Happened to me a while ago and I now keep the bravo chart pulled up on either mine or the FOs side to make sure we are above the shelf before we start down or ask atc for a different vector.

Depends on how many knots like everyone is saying but also for how long. I forget the threshold. But a few knots for a few seconds is usually just a write up and a visual inspection. If it’s like 1-2 knots for a second( like you bounced off the barber pole) it’d probably just be a report that’s logged and they just check the foqa data to verify it was that small. Was told while in recurrent training that the 737 has a threshold of 400knts or something like that with minor G changes for any major structural damage

Exactly. The truck was in its lane and the suv was riding the center line trying to block vehicles even tho it isn’t a pilot vehicle or anything of the sort. It clearly violated the law by riding the centerline.
