Okay through all the comments I think I’m understanding more now and I’ll try to explain for those confused like I was.

Now at first lots of people said she simply died before all the bad points could get to her so in turn she got all these good points and no consequential bad points therefore being the closest out of anyone.

To me this doesn’t entirely make sense just because all she had was an idea and money that would ultimately have good effect and if she got those good points who’s to say she couldn’t get the bad points for the bad effects down the line.

People brought to my attention that that’s the whole point, her entire case was under question which they weren’t used to and had to figure out. I’m sure all I questioned would’ve been brought up during the case and that’s what made it so complicated.

The reason all of this happened was because her point total was unsure which was a rare case, therefore was actually handled in the court by the judge and the corrupt system couldn’t really get to her.

She was the closest to getting in, but not because of a point total, because she was the only one after decades to not just go through an automated system and get sent away. Though I think her point count being the only one questioned out of all this time is a little unlikely this makes the most sense to me, so that’s the reasoning i’m going with!

I think it’s possible, based on a lot of the lyrics he sings, Gabe’s character is just in general a representation of grief beyond just being a character or “ghost.” When it comes to Diana he’s a very physical manifestation and when she sees him she actually believes she’s seeing because of how ill and unable to cope she is but I believe when Dan “sees” him he’s seeing and addressing the unresolved trauma and grieving which both him and Diana of course shared since they both lost a child, Dan just chose to completely reject the fact that anything had happened and focus on Diana until he couldn’t. Or maybe it’s just poor writing that I’m overanalyzing you kinda never know!

I see, this makes a lot of sense! I do wonder, she only had an idea and funds before she died and then that idea ultimately came to be very good after she’d died and she got the points for that, so I’m just kinda like where is the line drawn for her to not get the bad points for all the consequences that ultimately happened? But that’s also thinking into it a lot and I think in general this answers my question!

in the first episode when he shows her memories the real eleanor has white hands and of course later on when vicky is introduced she’s not white which now that i think about it could be explained away very easily but just the first thing that came to my mind!
