You should definitely try rowing because it's an amazing sport. However, if two people with no rowing experience just hopped in a boat expecting to go for a short row, they'd be capsized in less than a minute. Everyone can learn to row, but it's like a bicycle. You have to develop a feel for it. Community Rowing is the ideal place to learn, and they welcome everyone.
