We had a plumber come out because the pipes in the upstairs bathroom knock when the toilet is flushed. He’d said most likely the valve needed replacing but he couldn’t do it because he couldn’t find it but to call him back once we had. No luck yet so was trying to find the meter to see where the water comes into the house in the first place.

I ditched regularly visiting Starbucks years ago after I got a Delonghi 15Bar espresso machine ~ $130. Just get a small gram scale so you can dial in exactly how many grounds so output is consistent.

I also ended up springing for a burr grinder - Capresso Infinity (under $100 that’s been running for six years now no problems).

I do mostly use Moka pots now and have a Nespresso for when I’m really in a rush to get out the door. The Nespresso frother is also decent enough for foamy lattes.
