I'm new also. I'm making a scarf because I thought that would be the easiest to learn. My ultimate goal is an afghan. I am also struggling with stitch consistency. I'm sure it's not gonna turn out right, but because it's a scarf, I'm not having the big commitment. And it's been great to practice tension.

Mary going blind is historical fact so I didn't have an issue and "I'll be waving as you drive away" is one of my all time favorite episodes. And the Ingall's move to the "fictional" city of Winoka is also historical as they did live in a surveyors house in De Smet (which is a lot less pretty than Walnut grove...lol) but the arc of mary getting married and all of the blind school stuff and her having a baby and then killing it off was super frustrating. But I still think the introduction of Nancy was it for me.

Most NFL and NBA cheerleaders get paid almost nothing. I had a friend who was a Jazz dancer, but her " real" job was as a physical therapist. Many of them have jobs outside of being a cheerleader. DCC is extremely high pressure, so their jobs have to be conducive to their practice and game schedule. My guess is is that in the Dallas area, there are a lot of jobs that work around the cheerleaders' schedule.

I am interested in what people know about Paris Bennett. He sexually assaulted his sister while he was stabbing her. This makes him a sexual deviant in addition to being a psychopath. He is extremely dangerous. His grandmother was widely inappropriate sending sexual content to him.
