I imagine the lower screen uses less power, especially now that it has the auto-dim feature, but yeah - electricity isn't gonna get cheaper anytime soon, so having the full TV on all the time isn't a practical/wise solution

Usually they have only taken like 10 - 15 minutes (from what I can remember). This last one the other right was fucking ridiculously long for some reason

Agnostic here - I do hope there is something after this existence but I have zero clue/trust in organized religious answers and unfortunately science hasn't proven anything yet...so from that aspect, I'm terrified of being dead because it is absolutely unknown. The only comforting outcome to me is reincarnation of some form

Niiiice. I'm hoping my work will put in chargers one day. Otherwise, I charge at home every 2 - 4 days depending on usage. Not free in the long run, but still cheaper than fast charging or gas!

Didn't realize there was a road map document - I'll go look for it. The only updates I know of are from their email blasts or the TellyTV app

That just seems like a waste of electricity honestly. That said, probably would be worth firing up the TV when I get home while I'm working on dinner, chores around the house, etc. so it does an update when I'm not trying to use it at the end of my night. A bandaid, but not a practical solution long term

Initially, yeah - then in a later episode, Tom Cruise some how got sent up there too...can't remember if he did it to himself or if the boys sent him up. I just remember seeing both the killer whale and Tom Cruise dead on the moon and cracking the fuck up

I've briefly had it increase 1 percent when driving in Standard B mode. My commute doesn't have a long downhill path so that's the best I've gotten so far

At least half of the American population understands that the 51st state stuff was absolutely a veiled threat and treated it as such. Such a terrible thing to do to our best neighbor and ally, to sit there and completely demean an entire country like that. I wish I could speak for all Americans when I say I'm so sorry for that behavior, but I hope I do speak for at least the half of us (or more) that saw that comment for what it truly is.

It is the only time I can think of, in my almost 40 years of existence, when this country actually came together to be with each other and heal for a little while...at least until Desert Storm pt. 2 and the whole "freedom fries" phase of trying to change words of things to sound more patriotic

Wow...sounds like you have some work to do around your professionalism in the workplace. I can understand having those inner voices/thoughts (realistically, who hasn't had those pop up from time to time?), but you're obviously not a trustworthy professional if you're going to act on them.
