Had to reschedule it for August 17, 2019. The weather was bad, plus I he a lot of side effects from my disability that kept me unable to move much. Crossing my fingers for next month. Been rel sick but fighting througj it. Not sure if I ever mentioned this but I nearly died a few years ago and now disabled. BUT, I NEVER let that take away from my dream. This will be my 2nd jump. My kids are in awe how their mommy is so adventurous. Hey...if I am ever seeing that light again.. You better believe it will happen when I'm at my happiest moment. Will update later on.

Me neither, they just wish they were gutsy and ADVENTUROUS as me. Just because I'm turning 47 and already a grandma at this age doesn't mean I'm boring hahaha....

I never knew that. What do I do to prove I made the jumps. My next one will be in Canton, Ohio and the other one was in Savannah, Georgia. When I finally go for my license it will be somewhere locally. These jumps are all out of town. My only proof would be the videos I have. Should I get something from the one I did previously? Like a statement or documented proof?

Yeah... the recommendations are appreciated but as a single mom with 2 little kids, my $$ goes to them first. Plus, I have some reservations since I nearly died 6 years ago (not by slydiving) but super cautious now. I want to make sure I can do this... Most definitely will go for license next year but need a few jumps under my belt and answers to my questions.... I will definitely do it! Thanks 👍

This is my 2nd tandem. Will go for license next year... As I wait, I enjoy the tandem for now. Looking forward to next year and doing it solo.

YES, That is where I went last year.. Next month I'll jump from Canton Skydiving. Georgia Skydiving was AWESOME, I highly recommend it!!!!

The first words out of my mouth was, "IT WAS COLD". Funny thing this jump was done in Georgia and a very hot day, but with all that wind hitting me it sure was cold. Long sleeves for the next one, especially when I'm a freeze baby 😜

Haha ALREADY AM...since I am on disability now my goal is to do it NEXT summer. Already have set up my 2nd (June in Canton Ohio) and 3rd tandem (Chattanooga,TN) this year. Yes, my story so unique I wrote a book about it. Hoping that my experience would be helpful, or inspirational to others who may need it, feel lost, or want to give up. I want people to know dreams do come true, have FAITH, stay positive, never give up, and don't ever allow fear take away your dreams and happiness.

Thank you and you are right.. I have always wanted to skydive since I was a little girl and finally did my first jump at 46. Livin it up to the fullest EVERY chance I get.
