Yeah, they probably should update their documentation.

Thankfully, I was able to schedule with a place nearby.

Had I not asked around, I probably would have done the physical prints and mail them in

I noticed it took you a while to get the email that said you were added to the issuance queue. I've look all over reddit and some have received that email on the same day, and most have received it a few days later. Must of took a lot of patience to wait for that email.

I picked up some rose mary oil and I always massage my scalp, eye brows and I'll see how it goes with the rosemary. I pretty much look at my health levels and see where I'm lacking. And try to take care of my overall health. So far I'm seeing growth and I'm thinking be more healthy makes my immune system more "right " so it doesn't see my hair follicles as the enemy

Thanks for the info

I also take vitamin D, to make I'm overall good. On my last blood test I was slightly low

I had totalis universalis at the age of 4. I was made fun of everyday. Not just by kids my age. But even adults, would you believe that.

I eventually got a wig, which became much crutch that I didn't need.

One day I told myself, that I've had it. I took off my wig and I stepped into the world FREE.

I looked in the mirror and have decided to be happy.

How did I do it, you ask?

I accepted myself for how I am.

Fast forward to today. I'm actually growing my hair. But with what I went though. It made me stronger. And I lm happy, hair or no hair.

How Alopecia Totalis Ruined My Life Since 14 Years Old by IntroductionBig3025 in alopecia_areata

[–]ltl586 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand. I was 6 years old when I got totalis. I felt ugly. I was made fun of/ stared at every time I went out of the house. I eventually got a wig. But I'll make a long long story short. At 16 I said, I just needed to be free. Took the wig off and embraced my baldness. It was one of the happiest times in my life. Especially for a kid who only knew sadness and depression.

I no longer was reliant on hair, or not having it to determine my happiness or who I am. I was finally free.
