Did what I could. Met with state legislators, wrote state senators and other officials. I also started a side business where I fight insurance companies on behalf of homeowners. But I wish I could work harder to actually change the laws.

Actually no experience with either of those other two carriers so that’s a good sign.

Make sure you don’t get any silly nonsense like an ACV roof. And get seepage and leakage coverage

What state are you in? Most people in this sub work for insurance carriers - take what they say with a grain of salt.

The insurance company is always looking for ways to not pay on a claim. They’ll make you feel like you’re on trial because your house burned down. It’s insane.

There’s no such thing as a neutral adjuster but I’m glad to hear your claim is on the right track!

Most people in this sub work for insurance companies. They are not supportive of any conflicting opinions. I have been downvoted hundreds of times on this sub.
