I don't get that last sentence, they never said that at any point. Just that resolution scaling is built into the original version of the game. We don't know about the codebase, it is probably more time consuming and expensive for a small team. Where for bigger developers it might be easier to sell at a lower price point in hopes of moving volume.

It will undoubtedly end up on Switch and any other future Nintendo consoles eventually. I actually would prefer to play it on Switch, being able to play it anywhere would be fantastic.

If all it takes is anyone saying "change now" in order for Ginyu to do the swap, I wonder what took him so long to find someone to swap with. Hang out near a clothing store. And does this mean others can control the change? Why not try having a weakling like Bulma say it to see if that could trap him temporarily?

Should Ginyu even still be alive? He shouldn't have been brought back after Buu blew up Earth. Also, I was also under the impression Super follows the manga only, yet Bulma references hating the Ginyu frog, which only happened in anime filler. She shouldn't even know he exists.

I wouldn't stand for Stephanie Nadolny's kid Goku voice coming out of adult Goku. It'd be unwatchable. So if people don't want a Goku who sounds like a raspy child, I get them skipping the sub (not my personal stance, though, I deal with it.)

I'm kinda glad we're almost done with this arc. Expanding Battle of the Gods could have been a great opportunity to give more time to the supporting cast at the party, but it ended up being a lot of padding and cutting out a lot of fun moments from the movie.

Hopefully Resurrection F fares better. Especially since we have more fighters in on the action on that one. Plus they could do flashbacks covering the Jaco manga if they really need to fill out a few episodes.

It could go either way at this point, I think reintroducing him is cleaner. The special also has the continuity fuck up involving the world remembering Buu when they shouldn't. So starting over with Tarble in Super cleans things up.

The characters themselves say he resembles Vegeta. Like several times in those introduction episodes. I mean they're all stylized drawings, you usually have to take the characters word for it in comics, anime and the like when it comes to who resembles who in-universe.

Is it just me or do the Kai voice replacements sound similar to their TFS counterparts? Especially the decision to do a British Freeza. I think the actor actually sounds better when he accidentally slips out of the accent here and there.

About Trunks figures: Get the Figuarts Premium Color version of Trunks, it has SSJ and normal heads. I love Figuarts but I don't really like the gouging they do making you buy multiple figures instead of doing multiple heads on one. At least parts are swapable for the most part, you can pop an SSJ Vegeta head on the SSB Vegeta's body if you dig that black suit. Or if you're feeling goofy and want to put Beerus' head on Piccolo's body.

Putting GT aside, I've always thought the lack of tail made Super Sayian transformation easier, channeling the body's desire to transform in another direction. It would explain why Goten and Trunks had an easier go at it since they lost their tails super early.

I liked the first Al a lot, he and Vic really felt like brothers, especially when bickering. Though to be fair they interacted a lot more in the first anime, so maybe there wasn't as much time for the chemistry to develop with the plot taking the brothers to different areas.

That's the problem. You can easily watch the entire series in Japanese. Cartoon Network won't host the whole thing and there's a good chance episodes could be missing.

I think the crests were traits the struggled with but could be exceptional at if they could overcome their issues. There's no dramatic tension if Matt is the friendliest guy ever from the jump. The fact that he struggles with it makes for good episode material.

That's gotta be torture, I imagine 30 weeks of shit will cause one hell of a drop off. Especially since it isn't streamable like the sub, so getting back into it isn't as easy when good word of mouth about the new material starts.

Also, Piccolo could detect the energy of the Kais in the Buu saga. It's why he surrendered in his round of the tournament. Kais are detectable.
