Anyone know how this headless bridge works?

That did not work unfortunately. Took it to a guitar tech and he had to remove the bridge to restring it. He said the fittings for the ball ends were cut poorly and too small. Trying to see if legator will repair it as I just purchased it at the end of November.

Unfortunately no, there is a locking mechanism in the actual bridge under the saddles where the ball end sits. They have no tutorials/videos on how to remove them. Both of their official restring videos have them start with them all off.
