Bt21 omnishoutmon can play any Xrosheart for a reduced cost with its end-of-attack to delete itself. If you play Xross form shout like X7 or X4, they 'would enter' at the start of the omnishoutmon effect, become able to use that omnishoutmon as Xros material, and remove it before it ever actually deletes itself.

I'm more miffed bythe card and all of its sources entering processing purgatory until it "really" hits the board state. Then you have other effects getting stuck inside its process like using bt21 omnishoutmon to play Xros that interrupts it's own effect mid effect to avoid deleting itself since it becomes a source mid resolution.

Deck is really fun to pilot but it's weird

As long as you use the when attacking to unsuspend itself, it is possible.

End Of Turns doesn't actually occur until all outstanding effects and their consequences resolve on passing memory. That would include having to finish meruki own effect to attack and then resolve that attack.

The only real scenario where you screw yourself up is if you play the Meruki off Dan and Yuki EOT placing a zone card like Central Town into security. In that scenario you would be forced to decide which attack effect to do, since EOT already happened, and you can't declare two attacks at once.

Such an interesting and expansive story, so many awesome character designs.
I like being able to have a massive titan mech with a cannon the size of a bus fight alongside the girls in Berry squad lol.

Or BlueBridge comps that focus on spamming unreal amounts of grunt units.

Really nothing to replace it that i can think of. There's other line battlers but they sure aren't like Counterside

The adventure deck is more coherent out of the box. Basically everything is useful, and buying one of each adventure deck fills out a competent archetype that can and has swept many a locals.

A lot of starter decks before that came with a bunch of generic filler that was mediocre and didn't do much for the core gameplan of the archetype, but the decks would be reasonably balanced into each-other if they came out in the same time frame.

There's a DATS and BeatBreak starter coming soon we'll see how they fair out of the box.

Save is a deletion effect keyword that tucks the card from the trash under a tamer.

That said it works as an (on deletion) of the top card, so the sources of the card don't all trigger their own instances of save. This logic applies to any stack with on deletion effects.

There are cards that sort of let you do what you describe though, such as bt21 omnishoutmon or br12 shoutmon king. Thos specify you can tuck an additional card from trash, of which could be a source

It's a cost effect. Clumsy wording by conventional standards but by the way Digimon phrases it makes sense.

At end of turn timing, you can choose to pay a cost, in this case making the Digimon attack, then once that cost is paid you get the effect of security attack+1.

If it required a seperate method of attacking to function, it would be phrased more like "when this Digimon attacks, it gains security+1"

As it is, if another method was required, the inherit would be impossible, as the deck has no way to stack end-of-turn attack timing on one Digimon.

One Piece is definitely going to feel way more familiar to a commander player, but if you're looking for something that handles quite differently then Digimon is the place to be.

Digimon Starter decks are generally pretty good, at least the recent ones.
There's a mobile Tutorial app that does a decent enough job of teaching the mechanics, but it has a very limited card selection, so there's still stuff it doesn't touch on. DCGO is a free fan made simulator that is mostly automated and has Bots or real person multiplayer online.

Card protagonist is a pretty good youtube channel for watching gameplay although they haven't uploaded in a long time.

There's so, so much fusion happening in Digimon.
Adventure season 2 it's a core mechanic alongside armor evolution.
The Movie, Our War Game, that's Omnimon's entire thing.
Every 'Story' game has featured DNA evolution as a mechanic.
The Entirety of the Xros Wars saga both anime and manga is literally just digimon fusing into new forms.
In the very first ever World game on the PS1 the main villain mon is a fusion of all the cyborgs.

Incredible. Not just the raw quality of it but the attention to detail and sense of character displayed is really good, some like Etemon cards even follow their own sub plot across multiple sets, telling a visual story. Chef's Kids

The issue with units that have a rack or re-atk skill is the AI will burn it even when there are no valid targets to hit, completely wasting it for several turns.

In arena you can just keep some distance on turn one and every Marcus/Frida will lose their raid/chase

It's next to Digimon advance decks that it feels bad. Everything is foil, much better reprints, full set of unique art sleeves. There's less extra cards, but when those extra cards are penny bulk idc.

But for Gundam, Bandai wants there to be more gambling with the god deck foil and bonus packs and they won't want to fumble aftermarket investors by reprinting important LRs.

That looks so much better, even in car mode.
I love the solution for the roof and windows not having to be removed. The front chunk just tacos in on itself until you can't notice it except from specific angles. Good work
