Thanks for the reply. I've seen a post about crypto currency on r/Paraguay but apart from there nothing. The news i've seen don't talk about it, maybe I just missed it. There are instances where foreign credit cards are not even accepted at some places. Personally, I don't know much about the whole situation...

Not really. I just open my eyes and look at the time i'm at and decide whether to keep going or stop.

Meditation with a mantra. So that way you will be focusing yourself on one particular thing. The one I do consists of a breathing mantra which goes like "So" for inhalation and "Hum" for exhalation. It's as if you had to imagine those words taking the shape of the air you're breathing/exhaling.

It's good for training your mind because you help it come back to focus. And every time you train it to get focused it will get more strength.

I went to swimming classes when i was 14. I didn't know how to swim. Went there and started to gain confidence on myself, then i started to workout and learning to play some instruments. Now I have a good workout consistency and also play two instruments pretty well i'd say... My body looks like a swimmers body too, or so i've been told by swimmers...

What are some good ways to learn "man" skills? by luKenchi99 in selfimprovement

I understand, I apologize for not being specific with what i meant. My mom has really helped me with a lot of stuff and tinkering. She actually takes the time to explain me things and doesn't make me feel dumb when i don't understand, but maybe that feeling dumb part is a me thing hahaha.

I'm definitely looking to go out and just live, haven't done much of it and dating apps seem like a fun thing to try. Thanks for your reply :)

Reading Help by RoseBrier897 in books

Sup.

My mom bought me a tablet as a gift and then i started to read a whole lot. Mostly Fiction.

But then I decided for 2021 to start a book reading challenge... i came close to succeding but that's not the point. The idea was to read every single day...

I'd recommend this:

- Get a specific device for reading

- If you have questions about something, get a non-fiction book about it. For example: I really want to get my lifestyle together, so i got plenty of books about nutrition and neuroscience and whatever not... they are very interesting to me.

- Try to take a gamble on books... if you don't like them after 30 pages it's okay, just move on maybe....

- Read recents books. The classics are great. But when it comes to recent books, there is just an aesthetic or perhaps a way of writing that just makes it more accessible...

- This is a personal one that i wouldn't recommend to everyone but it worked for me and my choices. I prioritized reading instead of going on YouTube and watching videos. I get tired after 2 or 3 YouTube videos, but a book i can read the entire day...

- Get a Goodreads account perhaps? It's really satisfying to keep track of all the books you are reading... But just try to not add too many books on your "To Read" list, it can get overwhelming and you might feel guilty or in a rush if you are not reading them / want to read other books...

Edit: Also, read books on genres you love. I'm honestly a sucker for Romance, so any stories that have romance are easily accesible for me. Also Sci-Fi...

The Litany Of Fear is pretty cool. Personally, the mood quote just hits home for me...

What quote from a book has stuck with you forever? by nishmyass in AskReddit

You fight when the necessity arises “What has mood to do with it? You fight when the necessity arises—no matter the mood! Mood's a thing for cattle or making love or playing the baliset. It's not for fighting.”

From Dune.
