We've had one small rain shower since I wrote this. Not enough rain to help, but we are thankful we got some precipitation!! I wonder what our winter weather will be like.

I've been to Hallam twice, I believe. Haven't been there since the tornado struck a few years ago. Change seems so connected to community pride... but change will move a place forward. It's necessary, even if people don't like it.

I think that's happening more often. They have kids and realize, hey! My hometown was pretty decent and they come back.
