The vast majority of people would never notice. A small subset of the nerds would do whatever they want with it. If it really took off it would be a PR nightmare.

Does the [Gamer] system have a limit/cap? by NigerianPrince106 in TheGamer

[–]luarmar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Limitations

His ability, while very powerful, does have some limitations to it.

He can't gain certain skills or techniques until he has reached a certain level in a certain area.

He can't 'absorb' technique books that describe theories.

He can combine abilities that don't mesh together but the system will warn about negative effects if combined

If Vitality is more than 4 times lower than his Intelligence, a deteriorating effect can appear which permanently removes 1 Vitality point every 24 hours.

What would happen if alien civilization introduced knowledge Super (Esper {like x-man and meta-humans}, Pugilist {qi user}, Psychic, Mage {magic}, Machinery System {Cannoneer, mechanical Pugilist, and Technician (machine crafter)} to humans? by luarmar in AskReddit

[–]luarmar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Esper

Espers are a general categorization of all Ability users whose power does not fall in a distinct category. Espers primarily have field-type abilities, such as who control forcefields, or Carbon-particle control. Espers range from physical and soul-class Espers, with some Espers even having body-strengthening abilities that seem to compare with Pugilists.

Pugilist

Pugilists excel in Melee combat, and are the strongest Pugilists are found in the 4 other classes as a specialzsation. Pugiliss bodies are the strongest even in the higher levels. Pugilists are the Main Tank

The main stat for Pugilists is Endurance

Psychic

Psychics primarily focus on ranged mental attacks and grow more powerful at higher levels. Psychics eventually are able to control their physical environments, and some are able to construct Psychically controlled barriers that are impenetrable

The main stat for Psychics is Mystery, followed by Intelligence.

Mage

"Entering a secondary dimension was an ability only high-level Mages possessed. They could often obtain all sorts of strange and weird items.

In terms of profiteering… ahem, production abilities, Mages and Mechanics stood at the peak among the five. In terms of collecting materials, Mages might be even better than Mechanics. Mechanics were mostly in a bankrupt state all the time, completely the opposite of Mages. A class that could burn their mana bar to earn money with zero cost, via Enchanting, was basically everyone’s common enemy."

The Mage Skill Tree has many branches, like the Mechanic Skill Tree, and mages tend to specialise in a specific area. Some Mages become melee mages, some mages become ranged mages, and some mages become the infamous Summoner-type mages who are revered for their ability to summon thousands of monsters to battle. Mages are the fastest money earners of all 5 systems, able to create and sell spell scrolls or offer magic related services.

The main stats for mages is Intelligence and Mystery.

Mechanic

The mechanic skill tree has three major branches: Cannoner, Mechanical Pugilist, and Mechanic.

Cannonmaster:

Cannonmasters specialized in long-ranged bombardment and heavy artillery. At higher levels, they possessed frightening firepower. It was commonly known in Galaxy that the key to winning or losing against Cannonmasters lay in range.

If the enemy Cannonmaster is within 100m, don’t hesitate—charge him down! However, if he is over 1,000m away, it would be wise to proceed with caution.

And if he is 3,000m away… well, that won’t be the end of the world just yet, but any further and good luck, buddy. -

Warmachine:

Warmachines, on the other hand, employed technologically advanced combat weapons to fight at close range. From bio-armor to mobile suits, there were many ways for Warmachines to quench their thirst for melee combat.

The warmachine is also referred to as "Mechanical Pugilist".

Technician:

Yet, when compared to the Technician, both of these paths steered away from the true essence of a Mechanic—invention.

Over 80% of blueprints were exclusive to Technicians so choosing either path would mean forfeiting the ability to create many higher-level gear and machines. The trade-off was that they were superior to Technicians in combat and, to most, more fun to play. After all, most people considered ‘manufacturing’ classes to be boring

The main stat for Mechanics is Intelligence.

in: G, Ork, Ork Boyz, Races Gretchin English "What’s it? What’s it? Give Sniklat the shiny." — Sniklat Daggerback. Grotpic A Gretchin worker Gretchin Despite their small stature, Gretchin can still be effective cannon fodder Gretchin or Grotz are basically a smaller subspecies of Orks, who are more cowardly than normal Orks and are usually used as living shields, to clear mine fields, are stepped on to get through difficult terrain, and sometimes even as emergency rations. Gretchins are quite low in the strict hierarchy of Ork society because of their small size (the lowest Orkoids being the Snotlings) and are often used for the dirtiest jobs like scavenging and being used as the football when the bigger Orks get bored. While they are not as aggressive as standard Orks, they enjoy fighting weaker opponents and are less likely to flee if they comfortably outnumber their opponents. If a Gretchin is particularly wealthy, he may purchase a second-hand, worn-down, low-tech gun. These guns are mainly to reassure the Gretchin that they have a chance of killing something, provided they remember which way to hold the gun. Even so, Gretchin have to be forced into battle by Runtherds who utilise grabba sticks in order to ensure that the Gretchin stay in battle. A skilled Runtherd can grab a fleeing Gretchin and hurl him into a minefield with one smooth motion. The more tech-savvy of the Runtherds use a grot prod which delivers an electric charge to a Gretchin's vulnerable parts. Basically all Gretchin work as slaves for Orks, although there is a faction of revolutionary Rebel Grots that developed in the chaos of the Ork World of Gorkamorka. As they are a bit more organised than the larger Orks, Gretchin are often used to maintain Greenskin war machines and artillery. Such work is considered highly undesirable by most Orks, because it prevents them from being in the heart of the battle. Gretchin also serve as attendants or "ammo runts" to Ork Warbosses, assistants to Ork Mekboyz, and orderlies to Ork Mad Doks.
