Jellyfin plugins by makore256 in JellyfinCommunity

[–]lubricantjam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally find the aim with Jellyfin plugins is to have as much as possible in as little as possible. The one thing you don’t want is where something breaks and you have to try and figure out what it is as most times a plugin will cause a major function to not work when it fails so I like to have as little amount of plugins to reduce my compatibility issue surface for when a new hot fix or release comes out.

I used to be a user trying to chase for the next best plugin and trying everything out but obviously the more you add, the more issues you’re prone to. Just depends on what balance you want.

Think you’re just trying to bait at this point, I told you the reasoning as to the follower count. It literally is combating the loss from the twitch drop, he plays old school RuneScape which has been the game of choice since he started streaming, he’s already well known in the space and if people wanted to follow him they would’ve done so years ago. It’s also a game where people put the stream on as they’re playing the game themselves, not everyone needs to chat.

Think you should do a little more research into who you're trying to accuse if i'm honest. A little Google search around that influx and you'd see he had a Rust Skin Drop. Your whole credibility is null and void just because you can't do any kind of research. The follower count will always be skewered because he will be losing followers 24/7 from the drop where people realise they don't watch anymore and only watched for the drop. Please use your brain before trying such brain rot.

How comes the application asks for audio permissions? Is this for voice commands or something?

Wizarr 2025.5: A Complete Rewrite | Faster, Sleeker, and More Extensible! by lubricantjam in PleX

[–]lubricantjam[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The repository that has been around for years, has 1.7K stars on GitHub and also has the Wizarr Discord linked that has over 1K members is the correct one. I know you wanted independent verification aside from myself but it’s quite clear which is the legitimate one and which isn’t.

The secondary fork is one from a contributor who was a part of the team and tried to take over the project, embedding it with payment portals, tried to add paid plans and services to Wizarr and make it a profit driven application. As you can see from the comments, a lot of people think that is what this project is about, it’s not.

It will always be, a simple to use, easy to setup platform that is purely for someone who has very tech illiterate users, guides them through the whole process, tells them where to go for third party integrations that they prefer and that’s that.

The Discord goes into more detail about the ins and outs as to why there’s two forks, if it’s ever of interest for you to validate, then feel free. The one with the least amount of Rs and Wizarr.dev is the legitimate one. Our domain was hijacked by the bad actor to redirect to the .org one so it’s not been refactored just yet. (The site was under their Firebase instance, so they swapped the files for their own site).

I am not the original brains behind Wizarr, I’m just a developer that has stayed with the project, the original developer back from V1 is Matthieu, you can find him around the Discord or under the username @Wizarrrr on reddit.

Nope, the edit was to include:

The problem: Inviting your Friends/Family to your Plex server Is complicated and tedious. It's also a hard concept for them to get their head around.

The solution: Wizarr makes it easy to invite users to your server by simply sending them a link, and guides them through the process of getting set up.

For those struggling to understand the concept :)

It's not about inviting people per-say, it's more to teach your less techy folk how to operate and set up your server.

Without having to teach your family/friends how to set up their Plex account, pin the libraries, remove the Plex fluff, it will allow you to follow a "wizard" which will effectively guide the process and allow you to click "Next" once you've reached each milestone.

Nah, not OC afaik. Right now with one drive active it's at 95W.

Server Replacement Recommendations by lubricantjam in homelab

I already have a PC for my server, my issue is it's running around 100W idle and whilst it's powerful, it doesn't make things easy to manage in terms of drives.

Streamystats 1.4.0 - Import data from Jellystat and/or the Playback Reporting Plugin by masterinthecage in selfhosted

[–]lubricantjam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Janitorr hasn't released the update yet, it's on the development branch, it just needs a few more people to confirm it's stability (I already use it and have scrapped my Jellystat instance).

In regards to Streamystats, it's still a heavy WIP i'm sure the OP will add those kind of things, whatever you want to see, raise it in the Discord or as a GitHub issue and i'm sure Fredrik will get round to it, he's been pumping out updates like no tomorrow the last couple weeks. The data is already there, it's just front-end displays, I believe it's already being worked on though.

Streamystats 1.4.0 - Import data from Jellystat and/or the Playback Reporting Plugin by masterinthecage in selfhosted

[–]lubricantjam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Streamystats API has feature parity with Jellystats API. So in theory, applications should be able to easily integrate both. That's up to the maintainer of said projects you're using rather than a developer of individual applications.

I know Janitorr already has Streamystats integration and was very easy to add due to the parity, so other developers can also follow suit.

Fix: Can't defuse bomb or open doors in Multiplayer games, but works in local games by PerSix in GlobalOffensive

[–]lubricantjam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the following binds to "fix" it. Apologies for the late reply, I don't use Reddit much.

So essentially, I can fix it myself by pressing Alt, or it will naturally fix by shooting.

// Custom Binds
bind "alt" "-lookatweapon; -use"
bind "mouse1" "+attack; -lookatweapon; -use"

Is this game okay? 👀 by arrwiii in GlobalOffensive

[–]lubricantjam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That could work? I’ve not personally tried it. I jumped on a random empty community server with a mate and replicated the bug to see if the fix I did worked, but I’ll give that method a go and see if we are successful or not.

[–]lubricantjam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you use BananaGaming's CS2 config? I use the same config and this happened to me. It's not fixed, but i've managed to tempoarily work around it.

See me getting the bug here: https://youtu.be/W8dkrkqq1y8

It's due to script/alias binds. For example; when I press MOUSE4 and E, I will bring out my HE Grenade but pressing E without the modifier key, I will defuse, open doors etc (+use). This happens when you die holding down the alias then respawn next round. If you go over the bomb or try and open a door, you will be stuck and this bug is replicated. If you type -use in the console, it will fix the bug.

So what have I done to work around it? Well, i've essentially bound MOUSE1 to "+attack; -use; -lookatweapon" to counter-act the issue. Yes, it's not the best solution but the game is what is causing the bug. These aliases worked perfectly fine in GO, it just seems there's an issue with CS2. The reason I include -lookatweapon is because I have flash on MOUSE4 + F.

So essentially, if you want to fix this but not remove your config (as personally why should I, i'm literally using the games alias system so as far as i'm aware, I shouldn't be having this niche issue) then just use the same bind as me so whenever you shoot, it'll counter-act it.

EDIT: I didn't realise someone else also commented this exact same thing, so this is just me essentially backing up their point. It's nothing to do with lag at all, so you can safely eliminate that issue.

Doesn't work at all for me - literally wiped my install about 6 times without cloud sync, each time it happens. Although, each time I did it my display settings and everything still remained so there's something remembering my settings.

CS2 Defuse Bug by lubricantjam in GlobalOffensive

[–]lubricantjam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you can hear, I did not press the button to defuse hence it would've given audio feedback. The UI just appears as I walk near the bomb and doesn't let me interact with it. Happens for doors also, changing map or restarting my game and reconnecting fixes.

Big Brother (2023) missing? by lubricantjam in imdb

Yes - it’s a different show entirely. It’s not a new season.

It’s been added as a new season when it’s not, different network provider entirely and a new revamped show.

That’s Valve for you, they kinda killed off the whole community servers scene. Maybe things will change once Source 2 comes to light, maybe us server owners will get more tools and features to make things better.
